What FOXO4-DRI is

What have FOXO4-DRI studies in cells and mice looked at?
The 2017 paper that introduced FOXO4-DRI tested it in mice, both in a fast-aging strain and in mice that had simply grown old. It looked at worn-out cells, fitness, fur and kidney function.
A 2023 study tested it in mice with lung scarring, and in 2025 a dish study looked at keloids, the thick raised scars, and the worn-out cells inside them. These later studies take the idea to other tissues, still only in mice and cells.
